Temperatures will stay very warm at nighttime limiting the ability for cooling of non air-conditioned places. * WHERE...Portions of central New York and northeast Pennsylvania. * WHEN...From 11 AM this morning to 8 PM EDT Friday. * IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat and high humidity events.

Recommended Action

Do not leave young children and pets in unattended vehicles. Car interiors will reach lethal temperatures in a matter of minutes. Take extra precautions when outside.
