* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Portions of east central, south central, and southeast Kentucky, including the following counties, in east central Kentucky, Estill. In south central Kentucky, Laurel, McCreary, Pulaski, Rockcastle, Wayne and Whitley. In southeast Kentucky, Bell, Clay, Harlan, Jackson, Knox, Lee, Leslie, Letcher, Owsley and Perry. * WHEN...Until noon EDT today. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - An additional round of showers and thunderstorms will affect southwestern parts of the area through noon. Very heavy rainfall may occur where thunderstorms are the most persistent, resulting in flash flooding. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
