In northeast Kentucky, Johnson and Martin. In south central Kentucky, Laurel, McCreary, Pulaski, Rockcastle, Wayne and Whitley. In southeast Kentucky, Bell, Breathitt, Clay, Floyd, Harlan, Jackson, Knott, Knox, Lee, Leslie, Letcher, Magoffin, Morgan, Owsley, Perry, Pike and Wolfe. * WHEN...Through late tonight. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Thunderstorms with torrential downpours may move repeatedly over the same locations may result in isolated to scattered instances of flash through late this evening.

Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are expected through 11 AM EDT. This additional rain will likely result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... West Liberty, Stanton, Irvine, Jackson, Beattyville, Frenchburg, Campton, Booneville, Simpson, Henry, Lewis, Jeffersonville, Camargo, Clay City, Fincastle, Ravenna, Wellington, Campsites in the Indian Creek area of the Daniel Boone National Forrest, Torrent and Zachariah.
