* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible. * WHERE...Portions of central, north central, and northeast Iowa. * WHEN...Through Thursday morning. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Area creeks and streams are running high and could flood with more heavy rain. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Repeated rounds of storms over the same area may lead to a quick 1-3+ inches of rain and could cause renewed flooding in areas that have already experienced flooding within the last several days.
