* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Portions of central and south central Kansas, including the following counties, in central Kansas, Rice. In south central Kansas, Butler, Cowley, Harvey, Kingman, Reno, Sedgwick and Sumner. * WHEN...Until 1 PM CDT this afternoon. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Storms with very heavy rainfall will continue this morning across the area. Rainfall rates are expected to be around 2 inches per hour with the stronger storms.

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take action should flooding develop.
