* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...North Central Sullivan County in central New York... * WHEN...Until 200 PM EDT Wednesday. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Expect many areas of slow moving or standing water. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 738 AM EDT, Doppler Radar estimates between 3 and 6 inches of rain have fallen from Tuesday through last night, with locally higher amounts. While additional rainfall today will be much lighter, flooding is already occurring in the warned area from the earlier heavy rain. - Willowemoc Creek near Livingston Manor was around 10 feet at dawn, which is roughly 8 feet higher than Tuesday morning. The water level will drop today but flooding issues are ongoing and will persist through at least midday. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Livingston Manor, Parksville, Hazel, Willowemoc, Roscoe, Rockland, Parkston, Debruce, Anderson, Waneta Lake, Joscelyn, Lewbeach, Beaverkill Campground, Mongaup Pond Campground and Shandelee. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
