Bogue Falaya River At Boston St in Covington affecting St. Tammany Parish. Amite River At Bayou Manchac Point affecting East Baton Rouge Parish. Tangipahoa River Near Robert affecting Tangipahoa Parish. Tchefuncte River Above U.S. Highway 190 Near Covington affecting St. Tammany Parish. For the Amite And Comite Rivers...including Olive Branch, Comite Joor Rd, Darlington, Grangeville, Magnolia, Denham Springs, Bayou Manchac Point, Bayou Manchac Near Little Prairie, Port Vincent, French Settlement, Maurepas...Minor flooding is forecast. Bogue Falaya River Park and Christ Episcopal School grounds will begin to flood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:30 PM CDT Friday the stage was 6.8 feet. - Bankfull stage is 4.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 7:30 PM CDT Friday was 8.8 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight and continue falling to 3.0 feet Wednesday evening. - Flood stage is 6.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 6.8 feet on 04/10/2024. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
