...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Kansas... South Fork Ninnescah River near Pratt affecting Pratt County. For the SF Ninnescah River...including Pratt...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...South Fork Ninnescah River near Pratt. * WHEN...Until early Saturday morning. * IMPACTS...At 9.0 feet, Expect overflow of banks. Stream overflows narrowly on the left bank and more broadly on the right bank. Stream is approximately 260 ft wide at this stage. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:00 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 9.1 feet. - Bankfull stage is 5.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 8:00 PM CDT Thursday was 9.1 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 9.4 feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below flood stage late tonight. - Flood stage is 9.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 9.5 feet on 09/25/2019. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
