* WHAT...Urban areas and small streams flooding caused by excessive rainfall is ongoing. * WHERE...Southeastern Allegheny County in southwestern Pennsylvania... Northwestern Westmoreland County in southwestern Pennsylvania... * WHEN...Until 900 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not be passable. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 555 PM EDT, local law enforcement reported roadway flooding and rapid rises in creeks and streams bringing them out of their banks. This is resulting in inundation of structures. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Monroeville, Greensburg, McKeesport, Jeannette, Plum, West Mifflin, Murrysville, North Versailles, White Oak, Clairton, Duquesne, Turtle Creek, North Braddock, Glassport, Irwin and Pitcairn. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
