...The Flood Advisory continues for the following rivers in Oklahoma... Bird Creek near Owasso-Mingo affecting Tulsa County. * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...Bird Creek near Owasso-Mingo. * WHEN...Until early Sunday morning. * IMPACTS...At 17.0 feet, faster flows are expected along the river but no flooding occurs. Interests near the river and near Mohawk Park should continue to monitor later forecasts. At 18.0 feet, minor flooding occurs at Mohawk Park and along 56th Street North near Mingo Road. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:00 PM CDT Friday the stage was 13.3 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 17.8 feet tomorrow morning, which is in action stage but below flood stage. The river is then expected to drop below action stage by tomorrow evening. - Action stage is 17.0 feet. - Flood stage is 18.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
