* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Kimble County in west central Texas... Mason County in west central Texas... Southern Menard County in west central Texas... Southeastern Schleicher County in west central Texas... Northeastern Sutton County in west central Texas... * WHEN...Until 1130 AM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 825 AM CDT, A large area of moderate rainfall continues to be nearly stationary across the area. Rainfall totals of 1-2 inches have occurred in some areas overnight, and another 1-2 is possible in a few areas through mid morning. Doppler radar indicated moderate rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. This includes city streets, low water crossings, and other poor drainage and low lying areas. In addition, the Llano River may rise to near or above bankfull and some minor flooding along the river is possible. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Junction, Mason, Yates Crossing, London, Saline, Segovia, Long Mountain, South Llano River State Park, Streeter, Roosevelt, Hilda, Hedwigs Hill, Art, Loyal Valley, Us-377 Near The Kimble-Menard County Line, Us-83 Near The Kimble- Menard County Line, Erna, The Intersection Of Us-83 And Ranch Road 1773, Cleo and The Intersection Of I-10 And Us 290. - This includes Interstate 10 between Mile Markers 437 and 477. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
