* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...South Central Fairfield County in central South Carolina... North Central Lexington County in central South Carolina... Northwestern Richland County in central South Carolina... * WHEN...Until 330 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Overflowing poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1230 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Lexington, Irmo, Highway 6 at Lake Murray Dam, St. Andrews, Ballentine, Harbison State Forest, Lake Murray Marina, Pine Island, Seven Oaks, Lighthouse Marina, White Rock, Upper Richland Fire Station, Bundrick Island, Putnam's Landing, Cedar Creek Fire Station, Shull Island and Siesta Cove Marina. - This includes Interstate 26 between mile markers 94 and 105. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
