Water may be covering roadways, especially along Route 53 near the Morton Arboretum. High water may recede slowly from flooded areas, possibly stalled by clogged drains. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 739 AM CDT, flooding was occurring in the warned area. In the past 48 hours, between 3 and 5 inches of rain has fallen. River gauges indicate that creeks and rivers are at or above bankfull, suggesting there are areas flooding in the area. - The worst flooding is occurring near the DuPage River in Downers Grove and Lisle, particularly near the Morton Arboretum. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
