At 643 PM MDT, The public reported thunderstorms producing heavy rain in east Cheyenne. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is already occurring. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Public reported. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Cheyenne, Laramie County Fairgrounds at Archer, Fox Farm-College, South Cheyenne, South Greeley Highway, Ranchettes, Cheyenne Regional Airport, Bison Crossing, Winchester Hills, North Cheyenne, Frontier Park, Carpenter, Warren AFB, Grass Hills and Cowboy Ranch South. This includes the following highways... Interstate 25 in Wyoming between mile markers 6 and 16. Interstate 80 in Wyoming between mile markers 360 and 381.
